Fellowships

Every year Pitt students compete to receive fellowships that cover the cost of their tuition and stipend.  In the past this has included fellowship applications and a poster competition.

PQI 2022 Poster Session Graduate Student Research Fellowship Award Winners

Pittsburgh Quantum Institute Fellowships

PQI Fellowships are to be “awarded to students of exceptional ability and promise” who are pursuing a Ph.D. in Quantum Science or Engineering. Eligible graduate students will be selected from the Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences, the Swanson School of Engineering , and the School of Computing and Information. Fellowship winners receive a stipend and a tuition scholarship.  

Awards are given yearly - stay tuned for the next application or competition deadline.
